After installation, I did not see the same "focusrite control" driver that I had seen before, but instead three new drivers in the "focusrite Audio" section. As soon as I did, the "control" driver went away and the green light on the interface went off - back to square one. I went back to the orignal download site listed above and redownloaded the original drivers as the "control" driver suggested. The description for the "focusrite control" driver said that the device drivers were not installed, and needed to be installed. I checked the device manager, and a new driver called "focusrite control" was installed, even though the regular drivers listed above were not installed. When I plugged it back in, the green and red lights on the interface came on. I unistalled the focusrite drivers from the windows device manager, then unplugged the audio interface.
